Emotional Freedom Technique
Cindy is Certified to use Emotional Freedom Technique, often referred to as Tapping, as part of her therapeutic milieu. EFT is an approach that fuses elements of Acupuncture, Cognitive Therapy, and Exposure Therapy to effectively reduce stress responses and the emotional impact of memories that trigger distress through fingertip tapping or pressure on certain acupuncture points. Over 100 papers have been published on this technique in peer reviewed medical and psychology journals, and dozens of clinical trials have demonstrated that EFT is effective for anxiety related disorders, depression, trauma related disorders, pain, and other problems.
Coparenting Without Hostility Program
Utilizing over 25 years of experience with abuse, divorce, and the court system, Cindy has developed a 6 week curriculum addressing:
- the effects on children when parents choose hostility in their coparenting relationship
- the keys to coparenting well in spite of any circumstances
- non-hostile communication skills
- effective problem solving
- personal responsibility
- appropriate boundaries
This program can be attended by one or both parents, individually or jointly, and insurance can be billed in most circumstances. A letter of completion is issued indicating attendance and homework completion in the event court evidence of attendance is needed.
